Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

After watching one of my favorite childhood films again last night, I decided to create some Beetlejuice nails. I love the thick black and white stripes from his most famous outfit and think the green hair stands out against it well. Hope you like and sorry about the lack of images but my battery died and I'm too tired to wait for it to charge. I think it looks good in black and white, so added the same image in black and white. Orange and Yellow Gradient

As the weather has been cold and grey and horrible the past week, I thought I'd brighten up my nails with sunny yellow and orange. They are quite messy as I forgot to take photos after I cleaned up around the edges :S but here they are anyway. I just used a clean make up sponge to dab on each layer of the colours going from lightest to darkest (cream to orange) blending each colour as well as I could. Sorry for the short post and not very crazy nail designs, but again, I have been very busy completing uni work. One week tomorrow till final deadline! AHHHHH! Anyway hope you like and I will soon be back with more interesting designs for you all to see. Keep posted as I have some amazing ideas up my sleeve! xxx

More heart nails

I apologise for my lack of blogging over the past few weeks, but I have been very very very busy with finishing uni work. I have now completed my nail art eBook and would be very grateful if you could read my last post and leave me feedback regarding the price of the eBook. What would you be willing to pay (if anything) for a nail art eBook? All suggestions are welcome and very much appreciated :) xx

Here are some nails that I have been designing during the time I have spent working on my eBook. Hope you like :) xxx

Love Heart Nails Tutorial & Nail Art Ebook

Hello :) Todays love heart manicure is such a simple and lovely design, I thought I would make you a tutorial. I know its pretty simple just to draw love hearts on each nail but I thought you may like a little tutorial just to help you along if you need it. Again, like I say for nearly all of my posts, this design would look great in any colours you choose, and would look amazing matching an outfit.

I would also like to tell you about my university work as it is related to this blog. I am creating an ebook for the iPad featuring a gallery of all my nail art, picture tutorials, video tutorials, nail care tips and more. I am planning on publishing this ebook to itunes and needed your opinions of what you think the price should be. How much (if anything) would you be willing to pay for a nail art ebook? All your suggestions are welcome and any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Here are some images/screen shots of the ebook so far! Thank you so much for reading this if you have and please leave a comment :) Thanks again. have a great day xxxx

Bright Floral Manicure

To create this manicure I started with a simple french manicure with white tips. This makes the flowers brighter and makes the colours stand out more against the white rather than your skin tone. I also think it makes a nice base colour as it's simple and can still be seen slightly through the flowers.

I then chose my 3 different colour flowers - pink, blue and yellow (with a darker contrasting petal colour) and green for the leaves. The colour ideas came from my phone cover that I bought off ebay, I love the colours and think flower designs are so simple to do.

Let me know what you think :) xxxx

Mint Green Stripes and Pink Roses

Another girly, pastel design for the Spring time :) I used a cream colour base coat them painted on pale green stripes using a thin brush. I then painted on the rose design and added leaf details. It's a very simple design but I like how you can use any colours for the rose or the striped background. I also think that a polka dot background would look cute. I know this is a very simple design but I hope you like it anyway.

If you have any requests for me to do any themed nail art let me know and I'll see if I can make a tutorial. Would be lovely to hear some new ideas :) Thank you xxx
